The way this game started it looked like FSN would get their first W. Jason ran a long one in for a TD early. (He brought some cleats this week. ) Bret added a threat every time he touched the ball (Too bad for his pulled muscle. I hope it heals well). As QB, he connected on a couple of deep balls that got past the safety. One went for a long score ( I believe to Good, maybe Joey, maybe both…I can’t remember)

Intensity was high with the scored tied at 2-2. TNG came with had a monster sack and forced a punt. They were then able to convert punt into some points, through excellent play calling and execution. Newman called his own naked boot and ran it in for the score making it 3-2.

The following series for FSN did not go well. One pass sailed high and right into the hands of the defense. It was dropped however and FSN thought they had escaped the turnover. The very next play was a “pick-six” by Web, making the score 4-2.

Both teams continue to battle and the field continued to relent. In fact the biggest loser was the playing surface. It is going downhill in a hurry and maybe next week we might consider running east - west to avoid the worst part.

Be sure to add to the game write up that I took a shit in the woods and in a completely unrelated incident (I swear!!!!) was forced to look at Boyles bare ass in a walk by mooning.

We also had the company of the gentlemen’s club who chose the crisp November afternoon to try the get drunk and play Bocce experiment

Some new heads rolled out, which was good. Clinton was back on the scene, but unfortunately did some rolling of his own over his own ankle and had to sit out much of the game.Not a stellar offensive display by either team. FSU continued to struggle on O, and went down 2-0. A comeback was mounted with two quick scores to knot it up late: Brett intercepted Newman for a long TD, and then hooked up with Boyd for a long pass TD.The comeback effort was squelched as Newman completed to Cresswell who chugged downfield for the winning TD, as FSU failed to convert their possession into a score.
